We are enjoying some beautiful snow today. Kai and I spent the whole day at home watching the snow fall and staying warm by the fire. I am reminded of how blessed we are as I get to live in a warm, dry home. I am so grateful for the many blessings God has given me. Kai just started crawling on Monday...I can't believe how fast they grow up. Everytime I turn around he is under the tree pulling off bows from the presents I've wrapped, I knew that giant red bow would catch his attention! I do have to say I love watching him explore the world around him, so curious and enjoying a little freedom. What a blessing Kai is to us! And as we approach a busy weekend of Christmas parties I am really trying to keep my heart and mind on what this season is really all about...the birth of Jesus! Wow...what an amazing gift! We spent the first week of August in Eastern Washington on Lake Roosevelt.
My aunt and unlce share their lake house with us every year. We spent everyday
down at the lake, enjoying some hot weather, swimming, good music and quality time with
family! I think this was our first vacation since Adam and I were married that my entire family was able to spend a full week together on vacation, we had a wonderful time! Our evenings consisted of deck parties, enjoying the awesome view from the house, playing Uno, watching movies, making a fire and of course eating smores!

July 2nd...our 4th anniversary...we spent the day in Fairhaven.
We went to a pottery place and painted a bowl...it's a tradition for us
on our anniversary...this would be our 4th piece to add to our collection!

Our summer seems to be flying by. We've been enjoying the sunshine, hot weather, some pool time, good food, baseball, family and friends! Now doesn't that sound like a good ole fashion American summer!!
